About the position
Mission Overview
Keystone Solutions is hiring a Senior Java Developer Consultant for a consultancy mission with a client in Brussels. As a Keystone Solutions consultant, you will represent Keystone Solutions within the client environment, working as part of an agile team to design, build, test and integrate valuable product increments within each sprint. The working model is 50% on site and 50% homeworking.
Role and Responsibilities
Under Keystone Solutions’ consultancy model, you will apply skills across analysis, design, development, testing and integration, complementing the expertise of other agile team members to deliver a product at the end of each sprint.
- Commit to helping the team deliver a product at the end of each sprint, going beyond your own specific knowledge domain to collaborate effectively with team members.
- Focus on completing the sprint backlog, including all elements the team must deliver in the sequence determined by the Product Owner according to added value for internal or external clients.
- Adhere to Scrum values: focused, committed, open, respectful and courageous.
- Collaborate closely with team members and actively contribute to knowledge sharing, open communication, continuous learning and the delivery of added value.
Required Experience and Technical Knowledge
- At least 3 years of relevant experience.
- Expert-level Java development skills with Spring Boot.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with microservices.
- Cloud development skills.
- Excellent understanding of architecture, including hardware, operating systems, networking, databases and middleware.
- Knowledge of methods, standards, security procedures and development tools.
Preferred Technical Knowledge
- Experience with integration using different technologies, including distributed systems and mainframe technologies, as well as infrastructure components.
- Cloud development skills on IBM Cloud - DMZR.
- Knowledge of KESMA.
- Knowledge of Elastic Search.
Business and Agile Experience
- Knowledge of agile methodology is mandatory.
Language Requirements
- English is mandatory and is used for meetings and all documentation.
- French is the spoken language on the floor.
- Dutch is nice to have.
