Mission Overview
The Senior Career Counselor role is a consultancy mission at a client site, representing Keystone Solutions. As a Keystone Solutions consultant, you will be hired to work on client projects, delivering expertise and value in Human Resources.Responsibilities
- Support the HR Business team by providing career counselling services and assisting commercial business units in their transformation initiatives.
- Respond to HR needs by joining a team of Business Counsellors, Career Counsellors, and HR Officers managed by a Strategic Business Partner.
- Understand the client’s and business challenges to align career counselling with future needs.
- Lead career counselling based on business priorities and HR/business action plans, focusing on emerging talent, key employees, and new joiners, and plan follow-up actions.
- Organize support and guidance for specific employee populations, including reorganizations, reintegration, underperformance, or limited employability, and identify appropriate solutions.
- Motivate employees to take ownership of their careers through development, mobility, reskilling, and upskilling initiatives.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement and enrichment of career and mobility tools, ensuring qualitative information about each employee is used across the organization.
- Act as an ambassador for a learning culture, promote internal and cross-functional mobility, and foster employee engagement.
- Participate in and/or facilitate initiatives such as mobility days and workshops in alignment with your Strategic Business Partner.
- Act as the single point of contact for employees, except for administrative matters.
Requirements
- University education or considerable managerial experience.
- 5 to 8 years of relevant experience.
- Strong MS Office skills.
- Knowledge of HR Domain and experience in career counselling or business partnering.
- Knowledge of social law is preferable.
- Accuracy, organisational skills, strong negotiation skills, active listening, communication skills, team spirit, risk awareness, organisational sensitivity, autonomy, problem-solving, ability to cope with stressful situations, objectivity, and confidentiality.
- Language requirements: Dutch (mother tongue), French (fluent), English (fluent).
- Based in Brussels with possible travel within the territory.
- Expectation: 50% on site and 50% homeworking.
