Mission Overview
Keystone Solutions is seeking a Test Coordinator to join our consultancy team for a mission within the client’s Operational Planning and Competencies domain. In addition to the definition, planning and management of competencies, the domain builds or implements solutions for planning rail operations resources with a focus on train drivers, train managers, local activities and alternative solutions when trains are hindered. For the planning and execution of local activities and alternative solutions, we are looking for a Test Coordinator to coordinate testing across two parallel projects, each with its own testing team. As a Keystone Solutions consultant, you will deliver these responsibilities on site in close collaboration with the client.
Consultancy Nature of Work
- This is a consultancy mission performed at the client location as a Keystone Solutions consultant, working closely with the client’s stakeholders and teams.
- You will operate within the client’s Operational Planning and Competencies domain, integrating with two parallel project teams, each with its own testing team.
- You will remain a full member of Keystone Solutions, benefiting from our community, coaching and knowledge sharing while delivering value at the client site.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the coordination of the end-to-end testing lifecycle for the assigned scope, from early testability reviews through test completion and release readiness.
- Translate project risks and requirements into an actionable test approach, and ensure that people, environments, data and tools are ready for execution.
- Follow execution and defects, and provide concise reporting to stakeholders.
- Coordinate testing across two parallel projects, each with its own testing team, ensuring alignment, visibility and quality outcomes.
- Perform all responsibilities under Keystone Solutions’ consultancy model, on site with the client and in partnership with their delivery stakeholders.
Conformity Criteria
- For this assignment, the client requires the contractor to agree to be present at the client office up to five days per week for the execution of the assignment. The required on-site presence may vary and will be communicated by the client to the contractor during the course of the assignment.
- The candidate demonstrates at least 15 years of professional experience in software testing, including 10 years in a Test Coordinator, Test Lead, or Test Manager role, and holds a valid ISTQB certification at least Foundation Level or equivalent.
- As a technical coordinator you have experience in public transport and your assignments demonstrate understanding of planning processes of such transport.
- The candidate demonstrates experience in the coordination of definition, planning and execution both functional and non-functional testing activities, including test automation.
- The candidate demonstrates operational experience with Playwright and ReadyAPI. Experience must have been acquired through direct project involvement.
- The candidate demonstrates experience in staffing and recruitment of testing profiles, resource planning and capacity management, coordination of distributed or multidisciplinary testing teams.
- The candidate demonstrates English at CEFR C1 level or higher, Dutch or French at CEFR C1 level or higher.
Evaluation Criteria
- The extent to which the proposal demonstrates the required competencies and complies with the stated requirements will be taken into account during the evaluation. Proposals that demonstrate these competencies and requirements more clearly, comprehensively, and convincingly will receive a higher score. Where specific experience is requested, a greater amount of demonstrable relevant experience will result in a higher evaluation score.
- You have created validated test strategies and have setup the test organization in both waterfall as well as agile delivery projects.
- The relevance, scope and complexity of the candidate's experience as a Project Manager responsible for coordinating testing activities will be evaluated.
- You have a hands on experience as user of at least the following toolset: Jira, Xray, Confluence, Azure DevOps, SQL.
- The relevance and breadth of the candidate's experience in coordinating testing activities within BSS and OSS environments will be evaluated.
- The candidate demonstrates knowledge of ITIL processes and has been actively involved in coordinating the quality assurance and quality control of security systems.
- For the coordination of testing activities you have been actively involved in release or change management bodies.
