Mission Overview
Keystone Solutions is seeking a Team Manager for a consultancy mission at a client site within the Retail sector. This role involves managing a team of approximately 13 operational managers, ensuring high-quality service and client satisfaction. As a consultant, you will work closely with the existing Team Manager to support daily operations and maintain individual follow-up with team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Take charge of the daily management of a team of around 13 managers.
- Organize and conduct individual meetings and regular follow-ups.
- Clarify expectations, track objectives, and provide concrete and constructive feedback.
- Support team members in their daily operations, development, and any challenges they may face.
- Maintain a clear, motivating, and empowering work environment that prioritizes well-being.
- Monitor team activity, focusing on priorities, workload, deadlines, and potential bottlenecks.
- Facilitate team meetings and ensure effective information flow.
- Encourage collaboration, mutual support, and sharing of best practices.
- Work closely with the existing Team Manager, especially on technical issues related to life insurance.
- Provide regular and structured reporting to the Front Office Manager regarding team status, ongoing actions, and any risks or needs for arbitration.
Required Knowledge and Experience
- Proven experience in direct management of an operational team.
- Strong understanding of people management fundamentals: support, feedback, motivation, objective tracking, and individual situation management.
- Ability to quickly integrate into a new environment and take on responsibilities.
- Presence on the ground and appreciation for regular contact with team members.
- Combination of listening, empathy, and assertiveness.
- Organized, structured, and rigorous in action follow-up.
- Preference for pragmatic and directly applicable solutions.
- Comfortable collaborating in pairs and seeking expertise when necessary.
- Fluent communication in French.
- Experience in insurance, financial services, or an operational environment is an asset.
- Knowledge of life insurance is appreciated but not essential.
- Good understanding of Dutch is also a plus.
